How Sculptra works
Tiny particles of poly-L-lactic acid are placed beneath the skin, where they stimulate collagen production. As the particles are absorbed, your own collagen remains, which is why results develop over one to three months and can last two years or more.

- Overall skin quality and firmness, including off-face areas when appropriate
Injected or with SkinPen
Sculptra can be injected on its own or combined with SkinPen® microneedling, pairing collagen stimulation from below with the skin-renewal response microneedling creates at the surface.
What to expect
- Usually a series of two to three sessions spaced about a month apart
- Mild swelling or bruising for a few days
- Gentle massage of treated areas for several days after treatment, as instructed
