Regenerative Care

Regenerative Joint Care

We offer PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and Wharton's jelly ("stem cell") allograft injections to support your body's natural repair processes in joints, tendons, and ligaments. For many people with joint pain, tendon issues, or sports injuries, they're a non-surgical option worth considering.

Who it's for

Is this right for you?

  • Joint discomfort in shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, knees, ankles, or feet
  • Tendon and ligament injuries, including overuse injuries
  • Active adults looking for a non-surgical path back to movement

What we offer

  • PRP injections — platelets concentrated from your own blood and injected into the joint or tendon
  • Wharton's jelly ("stem cell") injections — umbilical cord–derived allograft tissue used as an injectable regenerative option
  • Treatment for shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, knees, ankles, and feet
  • Not hips or the spine — those require image-guided injection, and we'll refer you to the right specialist
What to expect

How it works

  1. Evaluation

History, examination, and imaging review to confirm you're a candidate.

  2. Treatment

Usually a single visit of about an hour.

  3. Recovery

Light activity within a day or two; results, when they occur, develop over several weeks.

  4. Series

Some conditions benefit from a series of treatments spaced weeks apart.

Good to know

Regenerative injections are not a cure, and results vary. Wharton's jelly products are regulated by the FDA as human tissue products and are not FDA-approved to treat orthopedic conditions. Dr. Chander evaluates whether you're a candidate, explains what the evidence does and doesn't show, and discusses alternatives — including referral when surgical or specialist care is the better path.
