Fine lines and wrinkles? Natural-looking options in Winter Garden

Not every line is the same. Some come from movement, some from sun damage and collagen loss, and some from lost volume. We tell them apart, then recommend the least treatment that fits, so you still look like you.

What might be going on

Lines form for different reasons, so no single treatment fits them all.

  • Repeated movement, such as frowning and squinting
  • Sun exposure and smoking, which speed up skin aging
  • Collagen and elastin that decline with age, leaving skin thinner and drier
  • Volume loss beneath the skin, which can deepen folds around the mouth and cheeks

How we evaluate it

Your consultation starts with what bothers you and what you want to keep. Dr. Chander and our licensed medical aesthetician assess your skin, sun damage, and lines at rest and in motion. Dr. Chander also reviews your history, medications, and any pregnancy. The aesthetician performs skin treatments under her direction. Plans are conservative and staged.

Treatments we offer

Sun protection comes first: the American Academy of Dermatology recommends broad-spectrum, water-resistant sunscreen, SPF 30 or higher. Professional options include:

  • Botox & Dysport — relax the muscles behind forehead lines, frown lines, and crow's feet; results typically last three to four months
  • SkinPen Microneedling — triggers collagen repair that may soften fine lines and refine texture, usually over a series of sessions
  • Chemical Peels — exfoliate the surface, which may smooth fine lines and uneven tone; depth is matched to your skin
  • Dermal Fillers — Juvederm and Restylane gels that can soften deeper folds and restore volume

When to see your doctor first

After a Botox or Dysport injection, call 911 for trouble swallowing or breathing, widespread weakness, or double vision, which can appear hours to weeks later. After filler, sudden vision changes, severe pain, or skin turning white, gray, or blue also needs emergency care.

See a dermatologist or your doctor first for a new or changing spot, a sore that doesn't heal, or a spot that itches or bleeds. Tell us if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or have an infection or rash in the area, because some treatments need to wait.

Questions

Common questions

Which treatment is right for my lines?

Movement lines usually respond to Botox or Dysport, etched-in lines and texture to microneedling or peels, and deeper folds to filler. Your consultation sorts this out.

Will I still look natural?

That is the goal. We plan conservatively, dose to soften movement rather than erase it, and build gradually.

How long do results last?

Botox and Dysport typically last three to four months, and fillers roughly 6 to 18 months. Microneedling and peels build over a series. Results vary.
